Briar Cliff University has two options for students to pursue their higher education in human resources.

Welcome to Briar Cliff University’s online information for our Graduate Management Certificate.  We will be offering a new set of courses starting this fall, 2007.  Our Graduate Management Certificate Program will provide any manager or person aspiring to become a manager with the critical material needed to lead a group of individuals.  Because studies have shown that organizations receive their competitive advantage through human resources, it is important in today’s organizational environment for managers to focus on behavioral skills.

The first option would be a Graduate Management Certificate which will provide any manager or person aspiring to become a manager with the critical material needed to lead a group of individuals.  Because studies have shown that organizations receive their competitive advantage through human resources, it is important in today’s organizational environment for managers to focus on behavioral skills.

The second option would be a Master of Arts in Human Resource Management.  The MAHRM program is an extension of the Graduate Management Certificate with a total of 35 credits.  The MAHRM program will provide individuals who contribute to the well being and profits of an organization with the tools and skills necessary to be effective professionals in their organizations.

The course format is very similar for each format with Graduate Management Certificate being 100% online versus the Masters in Arts in Human Resource Management is mostly online.
